Gentle Space is brand new— we'd love to hear what you think.
Gentle Space
Coming in Phase 2 · in discovery

Someone to talk to, built around parenthood.

We are quietly working on a way to find flexible, low-pressure therapy that fits the shape of life with a small baby, not the other way around. It is not ready yet, but here is where we are heading.

The kind of support we are exploring

Traditional therapy often means a fixed hour, somewhere quiet, every week. For most new parents that is simply out of reach. These are the formats we are looking at instead.

Messages back and forth

Write when the baby is finally down, read the reply when you get a moment. No fixed hour to protect, no childcare to arrange.

Voice notes

Sometimes it is easier to talk than to type. Send a voice note one-handed on a walk and hear a considered reply back.

Short video messages

A face and a voice, without needing to be camera-ready at a set time. Record and reply when it suits the day.

Shorter live sessions

Twenty to thirty minutes, with your baby welcome in the room. Built for the realities of parenthood, not against them.

A glimpse of the directory

You can already explore a preview of how this will work. The profiles are illustrative examples (not real practitioners taking bookings yet), but they show the kind of support we hope to offer.

  • Preview

    Perinatal-trained practitioners

People who understand the early-parenthood landscape — the identity shifts, the broken sleep, the worry that will not switch off.

  • Preview

    Short-notice availability

Find someone with space this week, not in six. The directory would show real availability up front.

  • Preview

    Sliding-scale and subscription options

Pricing that bends around a single income or parental leave, shown clearly before you ever reach out.

What it will (and won't) be

Built around your life

No rigid weekly hour you have to defend against a teething night. Support that flexes when everything else does.

Low pressure, your pace

Reach out when you are ready, pause when you need to. There is no wrong way to use it.

People we have got to know

Every practitioner would be checked, registered with a recognised body, and chosen because they get it — not just because they signed up.

Questions you might have

Can I book therapy through Gentle Space yet?
Not yet. This page is a preview of where we are heading, not a service you can use today. The newsletter is the best way to hear the moment it opens.
What might it cost?
We are exploring sliding-scale and subscription options so the cost can bend around a single income or time on parental leave. Nothing is fixed yet — and prices would always be clear before you reach out to anyone.
Who would the therapists be?
Everyone would be registered with a recognised professional body and chosen because they understand parenthood. No practitioners are listed yet. When they are, you will be able to see who they are first.
How would sessions work?
Flexibly. Messages back and forth, voice notes, short video messages, or shorter live sessions with your baby welcome in the room — whatever fits the day.
What if I need to talk to someone right now?
This is not a crisis service. If things feel very dark right now, please use the free, confidential lines at the bottom of every page — you do not have to wait.

Join the waiting list

Leave your email and we will let you know the moment flexible therapy is ready. No pressure, no marketing in the meantime, just a quiet word when there is something real to tell you.

We'll only store your email to let you know when therapy is ready — nothing else, and no other emails. You can ask us to remove it any time at the address in our Privacy Policy.

A gentle note: this is not a crisis or medical service, and it is not available yet. If things feel very dark right now, you do not have to wait. The free, confidential lines at the bottom of every page are there for you. In the meantime, our articles and community are here whenever you need them.
